Mission Overview
Anger Options
The Stoppit!© Program
The Stoppit!© Program is a weekly, professionally facilitated, peer support group for individual men and women. Stoppit!© provides a safe, non-shaming environment where members take ownership of their anger and needs to discover their wants. It is a ten-lesson curriculum developed over 35 years of experience that specifically confronts control behaviors and teaches decision-making skills and strategies for responding to anger. In a supportive and safe environment, members of the group share their responses to each lesson. They talk about past and present experiences and learn to cope with stress and discord. By sharing with others, participants learn valuable communication skills and strategies to enhance their relationships and lives. Through the use of Response Training©(RT) and the Passive-Assertive Framework©(PAF) (the Stoppit!© tools), members learn to recognize signals, discover losses and wounds, and communicate wants. Through the group process, members identify new choices and alternative behavior strategies. Stoppit!© groups are open ended. Members are welcome to continue meeting beyond the ten-week curriculum by identifying goals and focus for each cycle.
This program is based on 40 years of non-profit and for-profit service delivery by Mr. Jerry Medol in the field of anger management. The “The Medol Model” is a methodology for dealing with anger that includes the two processes, Response Training©(RT) and the Passive-Assertive Framework©(PAF). These processes are the framework for the Stoppit© Program.

Our Mission Our mission is to empower people in developing the positive expression of emotions resulting in their ability to build and maintain respect-based relationships. Overview Anger Options is a non-profit agency that provides a non-shaming, respect-based educational program to help adults who are dealing with the negative results of their reactive behavior. Our process provides tools that teach how to build and maintain respect-based relationships. The goal of our training is to provide tools to manage anger in non-violent and assertive ways that are both creative and productive. These skills empower men and women to develop and support assertive, non-aggressive behavior and contradict the scripts that influence aggression, violence and shame.
